Cardiff Educational Psychology Service is a busy, skilled, friendly and supportive team that values individual strengths and interests.  The team will welcome you and provide opportunities for interesting work with schools including Critical Incident Support, ELSA Training and the introduction and implementation of Local Authority Individual Development Plans across the authority.
As a Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist you will be joining a senior leadership team and take the lead in managing EPs and strategic work across the city.  You will be involved in the exciting development of a relatively new traded service and will influence the services priorities and direction, particularly in light of the new Welsh curriculum and the Additional Learning Needs reforms.   

You will work in partnership with other teams across the authority and contribute effectively to improving the educational outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

Applications are welcomed from experienced EPs looking to join a dynamic and forward thinking traded service.  Part time working is also available.  Applicants must be professionally qualified and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
