An exciting opportunity has arisen for 5 committed individuals with a successful track record in helping some of the most vulnerable young people looking for work.

The Youth Employment Mentors will work alongside the Into Work Advice Services in Cardiff Council. The post holders will have responsibility for providing intensive mentoring for young people who are care experienced and under 25 to support them into employment.

The posts will be based across the city.

You will be working in the community as part of a small team. You will have experience of working with and supporting youths into work.

You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, supporting people back to work, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner. 

The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.
