Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible service. Landlord Services currently has one temporary full time vacancy for a Community Living Scheme Manager within the Community Living team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual, with excellent inter personal skills to join the Community Living team. In this role you will be responsible for managing community living schemes on a day to day basis, ensuring compliance of all aspects of building health and safety, resident welfare and providing effective and efficient supervision of the Older Persons HUB.
The ability to use IT systems and other technology and administration experience, is essential.
The successful applicant will arrange, manage and organise events and activities at the schemes, working with a range of council services, and will be required to work collaboratively with various partner organisations to help tackle the issues facing older persons.
You will have strong organisational and effective communication skills with the ability to understand others. A strong and demonstrable commitment to equal opportunities and the ability to respond positively to resident’s needs, adapting quickly to change is an essential requirement.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace would be advantageous.
