An exciting opportunity has become available at Cardiff Council, and we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and passionate Team Manager, to be based in Children’s Services. Come and work for a service seeking to plan deliver and focus services around the journey of the child.
This is an exciting time to join a service which puts the individual at the heart of our work. The team works from a strengths-based (Signs of Safety) approach to meet the needs of children and their families.
The successful candidate will model the Signs of Safety approach, and work to a strengthening families agenda. As part of this dynamic management team you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent standard of work practice exists within the teams, whilst maintaining and developing the knowledge of research, practice developments, new initiatives and procedures and to utilise these in supervision, when planning for children.
You will need to be a Registered Social Worker, as well as have significant experience with staff and student supervision. You will be a good team player, and have excellent communication and organisation skills.
In return you will be provided with regular supervision and support leaning and development opportunities and the chance to shape the future delivery of services to children within Cardiff.
