This post is leading a small team of crèche staff at Severn Road Adult Education Centre. Crèches are provided for children while parents are engaged in courses within the same building, Severn Road Adult Education Centre. Flexibility is required around session delivery with the ability to work under your own initiative.
Our crèches are well resourced, safe and stimulating for children and we pride ourselves in the quality of our delivery. We support our staff with training, supervision and access to high quality resources.
Successful candidates will lead on to the planning of suitable activities and welcoming environments to engage children in play; providing stimulating activities that are age and stage appropriate and demonstrating warmth and empathy with those experiencing separation anxiety. They will also be responsible for planning staff rotas and liaising with staff within the centre and implementing the action plan from CIW inspections and quality reviews.
Candidates will develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and monitor and evaluate sessions to both support children's development and make improvements to meet the needs of service users.
