We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced Project Surveyor to work in the Architectural Group in Projects, Design and Development within the Economic Development service area.

Reporting to the Architectural Manager, the role entails engaging in a variety of building design and construction responsibilities including production of design and specification.

You will be AutoCAD proficient and be able to prepare and appraise design proposals and tender documentation for a wide range of building projects. You will be expected to become the design team leader on a range of schemes ensuring designs produce best value for the Council.

The role requires good understanding of CDM and Building Regulations.

This is a diverse and varied role and will require excellent communication and organisational skills together with appropriate experience. You will be a dynamic and driven individual who is looking to consolidate professional experience.
