Crosslands Children’s Home has an exciting opportunity for permanent full time/part-time Residential Childcare Officers to join our experienced and dedicated team working with 6 young people aged 11-17 inclusive.
The Home delivers high quality care to young people using the Signs of Safety Framework which is an innovative strength based approach that provides stable, safe and nurturing placements.
Our aim is to help improve outcomes for young people in our care by empowering them to build positive relationships. Crosslands support young people to change and grow from adverse childhood experiences by creating an environment which transforms and leads to fulfilling lives.
As a Residential Childcare Officer, you will play an essential role in caring for our young people. We are looking for enthusiastic, emotionally literate and highly motivated individuals. You must be able to demonstrate a “can-do” attitude and be driven to go the extra mile. Working in a positive and respectful manner, you will provide individualised care through the development of professional and effective relationships.
A vital part of the role is the ability to work within a shift pattern of morning, evening, weekend and bank holiday working, plus sleep–in –duties. In return we can support to undertake qualifications and continuous professional development opportunities.
