Cardiff Children’s Services Adolescent Resource Centre (ARC) is a service for young people aged between 11-17, who are on the edge of care. The aim is to achieve better outcomes for young people and their families, by offering an intensive service to prevent the need for the young person to become accommodated. 

We are looking to recruit a temporary support worker, to provide maternity cover, who is experienced and motivated and who is committed to promoting the upbringing of children in their families and passionate about working with families to help them achieve the best possible outcomes for their children.

The Support Worker will have experience of working directly with adolescents who present with challenging behaviours and their parents/carers in the community
A good relationship between the Support Worker and the young person is essential and the Support Worker will work closely with the young person and their family and coordinate the provision of services to young people.
