This key administrative post is responsible for the co-ordination of support services to the Children’s Services Fostering Team. The post currently operates at St Mellons Family Centre, 112 Heol Maes Eirwg, St. Mellons.
The successful candidate will supervise the administrative staff who provide a range of services to the Fostering Team and operate the Reception. You will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of databases and the provision of management information as well as a variety of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating and taking the minutes for the Fostering Panel and organising and taking minutes at a variety of meetings.
Applicants must have administrative experience. You will be a team player with knowledge of staff supervision and motivation and a commitment to meeting customer needs. Proficiency in using IT, in particular spreadsheets, databases and word processing is essential. You must have good communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work to; and meet deadlines.
