Cardiff Council aims to provide a high quality, accessible service.  There is currently a vacancy for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer.
 
The successful applicant will work proactively to help tenants with complex personal needs maintain their tenancies by providing an intensive housing management service. By using direct interventions and offering appropriate advice both face-to-face and over the telephone. 
 
You will have experience of working within a housing related environment and of using new technology; experience of working with customers and visiting them in their own homes would be of an advantage.
 
You will need to have good communication and customer care skills and will be able to deal with disputes in a positive and constructive manner. You should also have the ability to work as part of a team, with the ability to follow complex procedures.
