An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent communication & customer service skills to join our South Hub teams.
The successful applicant will work with young people to arrange activities and group work allowing for participation opportunities linking into the local area anchored within our Community Hubs and Libraries.
The successful candidate will also be able to source services & activities with an intergenerational focus at low cost / no cost to the citizen – e.g. art / dance classes, homework clubs and friendship groups
You will be networking at a local level to link up activities or groups with common aims, primarily providing activities for young persons, including working closely with volunteers for the creation of self-sufficient community groups.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills and the ability to remain positive and supportive.
You will work 37 hours, Monday to Sunday, which will include some evening work on a rota basis.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, Somali, Arabic or Polish would be an advantage.
