An exciting opportunity has arisen!!! We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our internal supported living team, supporting individuals within their own homes.

Several vacancies have arisen for part time Support Workers within Internal Supported Living, which is part of the Learning Disabilities team.

The Internal Supported Living team works with 27 Individuals across 10 schemes in Cardiff, to maximise their independence and opportunities, enabling them to enjoy purposeful, meaningful and fulfilled lives.

You will be responsible for sustaining, developing and contributing to the care and support of adults with learning disabilities who live within their own homes in the community. This will include enabling Individuals to maintain their tenancies and assist with developing the skills Individuals need to live as independently as possible.

Experience of working in a person-centred way, which promotes the potential of people with learning disabilities is essential. You will demonstrate an enthusiastic approach and also the ability to offer support in a sensitive manner, taking account of the abilities, needs and wishes of the Individuals you are supporting.

You will need to be flexible, as Internal Supported Living operates over a 24 hour period, 7 days a week, to include Bank Holidays. Usual hours of work can be between 7.00 am and 11.00pm and extra payments are made for sleeping-in duties.
