An exciting Implementation Manager position is available within the Information Governance Team. This is a key position with responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Council’s Information Governance requirements and in particular the Council’s Information Request service.
The post holders will be responsible for:
• Managing the day to day service delivery, activities and projects of the Information Request Service
• Leading and supporting staff in delivering change management initiatives and process improvements
• Identifying, evaluating and prioritising legislative change opportunities to enable the Council to streamline service delivery and introduce new approaches for continued compliance with information governance laws
Successful candidates must be able to operate at a strategic level, supporting all Council directorates with their legislative responsibilities and have appreciation for maximising the benefits of information technology in a customer-focused environment. The ability to analyse and empathise with customer circumstances and offer accurate, meaningful advice to customers, senior council officers and team members is an important part of the job.
The post is currently based at County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff.
